Jeep safari to the south of Crete

Join us to discover an unknown part of East Crete on an exciting 4x4 wheel jeep safari.

We pick you up from your hotel and gather in Anissaras where after a short briefing by the tourguide we are ready to start our journey.

After one hour driving through bad bumpy roads we make our first stop in a lovely small traditional village Kastelli where you can enjoy coffee in a local shop and ramble around the village.

Leaving Kastelli we continue our trip up to the mountains, driving on dusty roads and passing through traditional Cretan villages and a monastery while next to us we can admire the Cretan olive groves and grapeyards.

Around noon we will have already passed across the island to the south coast and will now take a break for our delicious BBQ lunch in the seaview village of Tsoutsouros.

After lunch we remain for a while in Tsoutsouros, where you have the chance to enjoy a nice refreshing dive in the unique Libyan sea.

We continue our tour exploring more unknown paths of Crete following a road leading us to an amazing gorge and an old venetian bridge where we can admire the breathtaking view and take some photos.

There is no better way to close such an exciting day than to drink a cup of a cold "frappe" (traditional greek ice coffee), so during our last stop in the village of Skoinias you can relax by drinking one in a traditional local cafe.

After this small break we get to an easy road leading us back home.

Our journey ends about 5 o'clock in the afternoon when we return full of memories back to Anissaras.
